West Bletchley Shed – who we are

Thank you for visiting our website. The West Bletchley Shed is now into its 9th year of existence and goes from strength to strength. To view our latest activities, please navigate to the “Shed News” page.

We equally welcome men and women and currently meet in a converted football changing room within Rickley Park, Bletchley, for which we are indebted to West Bletchley Council who kindly provide us with our facilities.

The “Shed” undertakes a range of community-based projects that will benefit organisations within its catchment of West Bletchley and the wider area of Milton Keynes.  Examples of the “Shed’s” community work includes making wheelchair friendly garden planters, helping to refurbish the St Mary’s Church Sensory Garden in Church Green Road, Bletchley and working with local schools that have special needs children amongst their pupils.

The Shed is non-profit making but financially self-supporting, and makes products all of which can be seen on our “Shed Products” page which can be made to order. To order, please email westbletchleyshed@gmail.com  with details of your requirements and any measurements as appropriate. We can, within reason, make most things and also undertake small repairs.  The money we make is used to buy more materials as well as to cover Shed overheads such as insurance.

If you live within the MK3 postcode covered by West Bletchley Council and would love to come along and contribute towards our projects as well as learn new skills, you are most welcome.  We do have members who live outside of MK3, but do impose a limit on numbers as a condition of our occupation of the premises we use. We meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10 am until around 12.30 pm.  In addition, we also run a craft-based session on a Tuesday morning from 10 am until 12.30 pm .Please email the Shed at westbletchleyshed@gmail.com .
